Lujan Grisham Statement Remembering September 11, 2001

Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham released the following statement today in remembrance of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

“As we pause to mark this solemn anniversary, all Americans naturally think first about the victims who perished during the attack against our nation. We will always remember those victims and their loved ones left behind.

“The enduring images and memories that stick with me are the courageous people, led by first responders, who put their own lives at risk and rushed to help their fellow Americans. Fourteen years later, my gratitude for those heroes is just as profound as it was that awful day in 2001."
