Lujan Grisham’s “Thank You” Tour at Sandia Science & Tech Park

U.S. Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-01) will participate in a “Thank You” tour today to thank companies for doing business at the Sandia Science & Technology Park.

“I want to emphasize to the CEOs and entrepreneurs at Sandia Science & Technology Park that I appreciate the investments they have made in New Mexico and thank them for doing business here,” Rep. Lujan Grisham said.

The Sandia Science & Technology Park is home to 33 companies and organizations employing engineers and researchers involved in advancing new technologies. The park is affiliated with Sandia National Laboratories and collaborates with its engineers and scientists on several technologies, products and services.

The companies at the Park directly employ about 2,500 people in mostly high-wage jobs, and are responsible for another 4,100 indirect jobs. Nearly $358 million in public and private investments have been made at the Park since it opened in 1998.
